Battery Racks
As most nickel cadmium batteries are mounted on free-standing racks, Standby Power offers an extensive range of battery racks in one, two, three and four step configurations in either single or double tier arrangements.
Detailed descriptions and dimensions for all configurations are shown on the last pages of the product bulletins for each type of battery. The dimensions shown apply to all racks whether seismic zone 1, 2, 3 or 4. The zone 4 racks differ in that they are welded instead of knocked-down in kit form to be assembled on the jobsite.
Connectors
All batteries supplied by Standby Power are complete with all required inter-cell and inter-group connectors as well as cable end lugs suitable for the customer’s load cables.
Protective connector covers and end lug protectors are included to insulate the otherwise exposed connections.
Maintenance Accessories
Batteries are normally delivered in a filled and charged condition. On special order they can also be delivered in a dry and discharged state with electrolyte (either as a liquid or dry flake). |
