How to size Ni-Cd battery
Although nickel cadmium batteries are more robust and longer-lived than lead-acid types, their up-front cost is typically higher than lead-acid. Therefore, it usually pays to choose carefully the right battery type and capacity for your application.

In nearly every case more than one battery type will work for a given application.

Using years of experience and our Optisize battery selection software Standby Power will select for you the optimal battery once we receive information on your application. Please supply application details to your sales representative or direct to Standby Power. We will select the most economical solution unless you specify that other parameters, such as size or weight, as being more important.

Data required for sizing are shown on the attached forms. Please complete these forms and return by fax or email to your sales representative or direct to Standby Power.
